Silk is a biodegradable natural filament fiber known for its luxurious feel and exceptional comfort. As a renewable resource, it is durable, naturally antibacterial, and flame-retardant, while requiring relatively low amounts of chemicals, water, and energy during production. Silk is created by spinning silkworm cocoons into fine fibers, which are then woven into fabric. Always refer to the care label before cleaning, as some silk garments are best maintained through professional dry cleaning.
Viscose is a regenerated fiber made from wood pulp. It is soft to the touch and offers excellent moisture absorption. To preserve its quality, we recommend entrusting viscose garments to a professional dry cleaner.
Leather should be kept away from humidity, heat, and chemicals, and protected from rain and abrasive surfaces that may cause damage. For best results, cleaning should always be handled by a leather specialist.
Cashmere is one of the rarest natural fibers in the world—lightweight, incredibly soft, and exceptionally warm. It is considered the finest and most delicate of animal fibers. Always check the care label, as many garments recommend delicate dry cleaning. Knits should never be hung—fold them instead for storage.
Wool comes in many varieties, including virgin wool, merino, and mohair, each with its own unique qualities. Like cashmere, most wool garments do not require frequent washing—spot cleaning and airing are often enough. Always follow the care instructions on the label. When washing is appropriate, use cold water, avoid wringing, and dry flat to maintain the garment’s shape. Store folded rather than hanging to prevent stretching.
