People often ask, when they walk into the store, if it is temporary. The honest answer is that I don’t want to put it that way. Yes I call it a pop-up store, but it is already a dream come true. Every weekend I get to open the doors, welcome people in, and share the world of Selected with Love exactly as I imagined it. That in itself feels incredibly special.

More than a store

People often ask, when they walk into the store, if it is temporary. The honest answer is that I don’t want to put it that way. Yes I call it a pop-up store, but it is already a dream come true. Every weekend I get to open the doors, welcome people in, and share the world of Selected with Love exactly as I imagined it. That in itself feels incredibly special.

Of course, the SWL dream is bigger. But I don’t like to speak about dreams as if they’re only here for a little while. I believe that the energy you put into your words matters and rather focus on what's being created than on what might end.

This space has given SWL a home, and it feels like one. It reflects the being of SWL and the experience I want to share. At the same time, SWL has never been about one location. It's been about different places, new collaborations and adapting to the space that's been found.

Behind the scenes, I'm working and collaborating with others on new ideas that I'm excited to share when the time is right. I don’t see this store as the end of something, I see it as the beginning of what can continue to grow.

Last weekend we organized the first Sunday Summer Session. An event that came to life from the shared vision of me and Skip Sitton to bring people together in a time where that's more important than ever. It may sound a bit deep, but we want to heal the world bit by bit by sharing beautiful things and connecting people, by music, vintage, art, all things that move us as people. Creativity can heal the world, because it is the source of creation. So let's create more connection and built together with love.

For now, I'm simply grateful to be here. Proud of what I was able to built together with others so far. And excited for everything that’s still to come.

The next Sunday Summer Session is on the 26th of July. Already mark your agenda!
